Rental extensions must be paid at least 5 Days prior to the scheduled return date. The extension will be charged as fresh slab charges as per the opted slab.
2. Rental Charges
All rental charges are to be paid in advance.
A refundable security deposit (amount based on laptop model) is required at the time of booking and refundable after the return receipt and inspection.
Invoices are GST-compliant and can be issued in the name of individuals or companies.
3. Eligibility & Verification
A valid government-issued ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport) and address proof are required for individual rentals.
Corporate rentals require company authorization, GST details, or a purchase/work order.
4. Usage Guidelines
The equipment must be used only for legitimate and professional purposes.
No software or hardware alterations are permitted without written approval from Rentopc.
5. Damage or Loss
Customers are liable for any damage, loss, or theft of equipment during the rental period.
In case of irreparable damage or loss, full replacement cost will be charged. Replacement cost is approximately 36 months rental for all devices.
Accidental damage protection is available at an additional cost (on request).
6. Return Policy
Laptops must be returned in the same working condition, along with all accessories.
Late returns are subject to additional daily charges based on the monthly Rental.
7. Technical Support
Rentopc offers free basic remote support during the rental period.
Any technical issue should be reported immediately via our customer support channels.
8. Delivery & Pickup
Free doorstep delivery and pickup nationally.
Any false complaint or complaint not found case, logistics will be charged to the customer.
9. Cancellations & Refunds
Order Cancellation:
Orders can only be cancelled within 4 hours of placement.
No cancellations will be accepted after 4 hours, as the processing and dispatch begin immediately.
Security Deposit Refund:
The security deposit will be refunded after the laptop is received and inspected by our technical team.
Normal wear and tear will not be charged.
Any damage (hardware, screen, keyboard, ports, etc.) will be charged at the actual replacement cost of the damaged part.
Refunds are typically processed within 3–7 business days post-inspection.
10. Early Cancellation Policy
For long-term rentals (e.g., 3, 6 months or 1 year), early cancellation will incur:
Full rental charges for the nearest completed slab (e.g., 3 or 6 months), plus
One additional month’s rental fee according to the slab charged as an early termination penalty
Logistics cost of ₹700 per laptop
Example Scenarios:
If a laptop is booked for 1 year and returned after 2 months, the customer will be charged:
Rental for 3 months (nearest slab) + 1 month extra as early cancellation fee = Total: 4 months rental + ₹700 logistics fee
If the laptop is returned after 4 months, the customer will be charged:
Rental for 6 months (nearest slab) + 1 month extra as early cancellation fee= Total: 7 months rental + ₹700 logistics fee
This policy ensures fair usage under discounted long-term pricing structures.
11. Ownership
All equipment remains the sole property of Rentopc.
Rentopc reserves the right to retrieve the equipment if terms are violated.
12. Software Licensing
All laptops are provided with genuine operating systems and basic software as specified during booking.
Customers are responsible for any software installations and must ensure they comply with licensing laws.
Rentopc is not liable for any misuse or unauthorized software usage.
13. Data & Privacy
Rentopc formats and cleans devices before and after every rental.
Customers are responsible for backing up and deleting their data before returning the device.
Rentopc is not liable for any data loss or privacy breach resulting from customer negligence.
14. Device Swap or Upgrade
In case of any hardware malfunction not caused by misuse, Rentopc will provide a free replacement within 24–48 hours (Delhi NCR) and 3 to 7 Days in rest of India Cases.
Customers may request an upgrade or model change during the rental period, subject to availability and revised rental charges.
15. Inspection and Reporting
Customers are encouraged to inspect the device at the time of delivery.
Any visible damage or functional issue must be reported within 4 hours of delivery.
16. Use Restrictions
Devices must not be used for - Cryptocurrency mining, Illegal activities or content, Hosting third-party software/services, High-risk environments (construction sites, industrial floors, etc.) without prior approval.
17. Renewal & Loyalty Benefits
Long-term renters may be eligible for renewal discounts, free upgrades, or priority support.
Corporate clients can opt into monthly billing cycles and account-managed service options.
18. Force Majeure
Rentopc shall not be held liable for delays or failure to fulfill obligations due to events beyond its control (natural disasters, government orders, pandemics, etc.).
